    Hobbyist in NC

Hello Autogeek community! I joined a few months back but have only been using the forums as a resource. I decided it was time to introduce myself and start getting some help for my specific car detailing situations.

I have always enjoyed cleaning my cars but never had one that was worth putting too much money or effort into, at least with regards to paint. A few years ago I purchased a used 2011 WRX and have kept decent care of it since. Sadly I didn't give it the love it deserved on the outside and now my paint is swirled all over and I have a few deeper scratches and some bug marks that have taken permanent residency on the hood.

I've sorted my way through the interior products over the years and am pretty happy with what I use but paint correction is a whole new world for me, I look forward to joining in some conversations and figuring out what all I need to get my paint back up to shiny and pretty!

    Thanks for reading!

    James

    Welcome...

As for paint correction on a daily driver----get Blackfire One Step and a griots G9 with 6 - 10 pads.

That should get you set re polishing your car.
