    OK,
While the car is still clean and in the garage, do I need to remove the SiO2 sealant to install the Ceramic Spray Coating, and would that be just another panel wipe with WG panel prep or would I have to buff the "SiO2" Sealant

If you want install the coating, you would want to remove the paint sealant first. If it were me personally, I would do a fine cut polish just to ensure I removed the Paint Sealant completely. Just doing the paint prep, you wouldn't really know for sure if it got 100% off completely. A fine cut polish like Wolfgang Finishing Glaze would for sure 100% remove the paint sealant. Then just use the Paint Prep and proceed to do the coating! If you have any questions, you can also reach me at 1-800-869-3011 ext. 1244 as well.

Anytime you seal your car's paint with a wax or sealant, or use an AIO (cleaner/wax), you have basically just chose the path of NOT using any type of ceramic coating due to a bonding issue.

if you want to use a ceramic coating, any form, then after any prep work (that does NOT include any product that "seals" the paint or causes water to bead-up), then chemically strip the paint and apply the coating per instructions.

Chemically strip means to use a panel wipe or solvent.

It's all about working clean and properly preparing the surface.

Would Meguiars glaze work in place of Wolfgang Finishing Glaze?

    No.

Meguiars glaze is not abrasive - it does not work like Wolfgang Finishing Glase which is NOT a glaze but a fine cut polish.

The WG glaze should be renamed (years ago)

You agree with Andre, then? I must re polish the car to remove every bit of SiO2 sealant? Panel wiping wont do it?
