What is the car?


My wife and I were watching a movie over the weekend and this TV commercial came on for some form of prescription drug. Don't remember what the product was and don't really care.

What caught my attention was the actor in the commercial was pretending to be a photographer, (anyone with a camera phone is now a "photographer"), and towards the end of the commercial it shows here getting the shot by standing on the HOOD of a classic car!


I couldn't believe it! This commercial was definitely shot, directed and written by people that don't know the difference between a swirl and a squirrel.



I did my best to take a couple of pictures of the TV screen showing her standing on the car hood.


What is the car the actor is standing on?






What's ridiculous was even if this was REAL-WORLD - from the height she's at on the hood, she could have easily taken the same IMPORTANT picture by simply standing in front of the car and raising her arms up or getting a step stool.

'62 i think was the only year they had the angle/sweep on the front fender going towards the hood

the F85's (Cutlass) are some of my favorites of the Oldsmobile line,,all the way into the late 80's anyhow
