I’ve been using BSD on and off, really great product overall, gonna try it mixed 1:1 with Beadmaker to hopefully get the best of both and not some dog’s dinner.
Pearl and Brake Buster are some of the best in their categories based on price and effectiveness I believe. Although Pearl doesn’t dilute down as well as other wash products, it still delivers a great user experience and rinses clean and easily which is something I really rate highly in soaps.

Maybe he’s without a spray bottle so is pouring it onto the vehicle from the gallon? Gotta be tricky getting it onto the vertical panels haha!
I do remember when it first came out and it was supposed to be a very wet first application, people were using 8oz or so on small hatchbacks and thought I read somebody used a whole 16oz on a school bus sized Yukon or the like.

You know BM is not a windshield washer fluid, right?
All jokes aside, that’s a lot of product for 2 cars. Maybe if you wash both cars everyday but still probably wouldn’t need that much.

Yeah it’s therapy for me to do weekly washes on this car. I even wash when it is 34° outside with 2BM filled with warm water.

I think Forensic Detailer on youtube has mixed BM and BSD 1:1 and didn’t like it. He said the added slickness didn’t out weigh the loss in durability. I’ve cut BSD with water 1:1 and it’s easier to work with as a QD since I wash weekly. You’re right about Pearl, I don’t dilute it either.

LOL. Zep spray bottle, 5 spritzes per panel goes.

Knew I saw that BSD/BM mix somewhere, I’ll have to check the video out. I’ve also heard of mixing 1:1 with Distilled water as well so may go that route if the BSD/BM mix isn’t worth it.
I dilute the Pearl though, 1 ounce per gallon of water. Seems other soaps are 1:256 or so, but even then I really like the product and will continue to use it.

I’m running low in Pearl. Have you tried Adams Car Soap or Sonax Car Wash? My PPF installer used Sonax Actifoam Energy. Dwell time looked ok but it’s $18 per liter which is kinda overkill.

Re: Awesome Experience with P&S Beadmaker
I’ve not tried either of those sorry, I do think the Adams is well documented on YouTube at least. That’s quite steep for a liter, I’d look elsewhere or maybe get another gallon of Pearl, same price as the Sonax for 4 times the product.
