Nice transformation Mike.
Great tip about getting the rear spoiler removed for access to polishing all of the trunk lid. How many mounting points?

Thanks Mike.
It has 4 nuts on the outer edges (2 on each side). The trim is held in with about 6 or 8 push pins.

Excellent Work - the LT1 4th gens never get much love.... Nice to see one cleaned up!
Interesting - I may remove the spoiler on my 96 at some point to clean under it if it's really that easy...

Thanks. The particles were embedded pretty deep over the years. Most of them are gone.

Thanks. It is pretty easy to remove the rear spoiler. The hardest thing if anything is popping the push pins off behind the inner panel. It also gives access to polish under the spoiler.
