My Master Blaster Sidekick took a dump today... But it didn’t just decide to quit, it literally started burning up in flames

while I was using it!!!

I quickly disconnected the extension cord and put the fire out. Good ole made in USA.

Went to a client's house. Worked on this beast in his garage all day!

Sprayed Iron x on the paint, let dwell. Then began to wash, followed that with Blackfire clay mitt.

The truck looked clean when I arrived but the truth came out in the iron x step. Then there was another layer of clean underneath the clay mitt stage! Crazy...

One step polish with M205 on Meguiar's microfiber finishing pads. 2-3 section passes and it cleaned up pretty darn good!

The LSP of choice was Collinite 476s.

First time using it, I'm sure I applied it way too heavy because it was a pain to wipe off at first. I think I let it set on the panel too long also. Later on, I applied the 476s a little thinner to a panel, waited just a bit then buffed off. It was easier to remove this way.

I did like the look of the paint when it was all said and done though. I'll have to see how it holds up.
