Re: Mothers CMX vs Sonax Polymer Net Shield long term durability test
I tried the 303 treatment on my blades not too long ago. Except TBO I知 not sure if my blades are rubber or this new silicone. They feel a bit firmer than what I知 what I知 used to wiper blades feeling like. Who knows... It almost never rains out here anyways. Lol

Rained a lot and very windy. Both sides of paint seemed to still have tight beading!
CMX was a success on windshield. Water flys off starting at approximately 40MPH! No issues with wipers either. I'm loving this stuff for the $20 price tag.
See attached photo for water behavior when parked or below 40MPH.

You will notice the top of rear bumper, by trunk opening is only place where beading is impacted. Appears to be uneven on both sides. Also this is the dirtiest part. I will wash with N914 at some point and see if it restores beading.

Took car to my usual touchless car wash, one of the ones that's newer and in better condition.
Due to salt and grime I needed the undercarriage spray. Unfortunately it includes some Blue Corral foam option, NO Rainx or Armorall wax option was chosen.
Both sides seemed to bead very well after the wash in the spotless rinse.
Car came out about 98 percent clean. Bright white again and would suffice for most non autogeeks.
Of interest, I applied Griots glass sealant to just the rear windshield this past weekend. I just used N914 at panel prep dilution, sprayed and wiped rear windshield twice. Can't confirm it removed the CMX or PNS, but then I applied the Griots glass sealant per directions. Easy to apply. It appeared during the wash to shed water way faster than the front windshield. I may try to do half the front windshiled with the Griots and half with CMX.
I just cant polish and dont want to polish my brand new windshield. I'll do the panel wipe and IPA and then apply.
Attached is a pic of rear windshield with Griots rain beading.
The sunroof, passenger side CMX, drivers side PNS.
I'll update when I do a rinseless wash how the beading is.
In other news I picked up some Meguairs HCW, no clue why haha. I'll test that and CMX side by side on a black Ford or Lexus hopefully that are parked outside 24/7.
