The ones I have know of is Swedish brands. I looked at 3D sds sheets as they are available to the public. And their fleet vehical glass cleaner has ammonia in it. So bulk products it's more common. And it's been more noted by manufactures I think to not use ammonia in automotive glass cleaner.
Don't know if there has come a regulation that you need to be put on the description if it has ammonia in it. But if you where to use a glass cleaner and you do some tinted windows it could be smart to look up so it's ammonia-free to be safe. They are very effective to clean glass with though.

But it’s only on the top right hand side of the windshield, so I just made sure to avoid that area.
But either ways I wouldn’t have done it with a machine, because doing so would’ve created a huge mess inside the car. The McKee’s product is fully effective when used by hand.
Does Cadillac have a anti-glare film or something from the factory?
Can you tape off the antenna?

Thanks for the reply!
I got some heavy rain to, slight flooding.
If you used other type of rain repellent, sealant before. How did the Griots compared to the others?

I don’t think taping it would be a good idea... I just avoided it.
See everything on the top here, that’s the antenna.
No, I don’t think there’s anti glare film on the windshield.

Just curious, if the G Techniq is that hard to remove, what would the reason be for removing it.

Could tape pull off the antenna?
When I used to help out doing state inspections at my friend garage. We never used to scrap off sticker or put on inspection sticker on Cadillac windshield, we always put them on the passenger side window. I always told there was some kind of film or something on Cadillac windshield.

Yea I’m not even gonna chance it. The owners manual basically says not to screw with that area or you might damage it, so I don’t go near it.

I don't blame you. I wouldn't go near it either.

I have used Rainx and Aquapel and I would say that the Griots is far better than Rainx and on par with Aquapel.
