SunJoe SPX3000 longer hose?

I know this thread is mostly about the hose...what about the other side...where the garden hose connects. I hear some say they use QD's on this. Do you all use the alumninum fitting with the mesh screen in it with the green top that connects to the PW on one side and the garden hose on the other? I'd really like NOT to use that as it seems very flimsy. Which QD"S is everyone using on this side?

I use MTM brass qd’s coupled with a Dramm brass shutoff valve and the stock sunjoe aluminum fitting. And it’s solid as a rock! I also added a screen filter inside the shutoff valve to catch the initial water sediment before it gets caught by a secondary screen at the pump inlet. You’d be surprised how much crap builds up in a short amount of time.

Having everything (inlet and outlet) setup with QD’s makes setup and breakdown super fast. Ill post pictures of my complete setup next time it’s nice out.

I use QD's everywhere. Much faster to deal with and like the previous poster said, the aluminum/green 'widget' w/ QD MALE is pretty rock solid.

Quality QD's are available on AG or a 'variety' of places

These finally came in from Aliexpress..gonna see if they fit into the Sun Joe reel of the SPX Reel! Looks pretty darn close to the factory SunJoe fitting..will try and test fit in next few days...

Those fittings look real close! What are they called? And how are you going to attach a hose to them?

Can I buy the sunjoe spx3001 + Complete MTM Swiveling Sprayer & Wand Solution - Obsessed Garage and call it a day? With the adapter of course.

I have some old AR383 that can't be adapted to this it has some weird quick connect and leaks anyway..

You can but if your like me you’ll probably want for a longer hose. If I could do it again I’d get Sun Joes offering w out the built in reel so that getting a longer hose for like the spray gun isn’t gonna be a PITA!

Interesting thread as I was just looking at finding a 50 foot power washer hose and wand solution for my sunjoe 3001.

Does anyone have the links for all the parts to make this work? the Quick disconnects , wand head, power washer extension hose etc.
