Unhappy can lake country pads company explain this?

hello

watch the pics

u can see how the velcro got off from the pad
and this happened only with the coarse green light cutting pad
and i noticed a little peeling in the velcro the first time i used it
but the second time used on 3 panels only and it got off completely

look at other pads are all ok

the only thing holding the velcro is gorilla glue

so should i glue up the whole pad ? or ?

I would ask the place of purchase to replace the pad.

As for the glue exposed like that, looks like it was assembled poorly.I have dozen(s) of CCS 4"/5.5" pads and have never seen glue exposed outside the backing like that!?!

Call or email the place you bought them from with the included pictures and see what they can do.

Re: can lake country pads company explain this?

He tried to reapply the velcro with gorilla glue to try and finish what he was doing.

My Lake Country 4" Black CCS velcro separated after 5 or 6 uses and it was my dedicated BFWD application pad. Thought the sealant reacted with the glue and made it let go, but now I'm not so sure about that. :/

Yeah that's weird. I love the CCS pads. I would call LC or wherever you bought those pads and see what they will do for you.

Re: can lake country pads company explain this?

I've thrown away many pads that ended up like that. Or I'll use them to apply tire shine.
