Question Noob question about wool pads

I've had a wheel for some time now, a Griot's 3 and 6" RO and have been using their foam pads along with the Optimum MF polishing and compounding pads too ( haven't had the chance to use the compounding ones yet) but at what point would I need wool over foam or MF? Does my Griot's RO have the design/speed to even use a wool pad correctly? Any input would be greatly appreciated

Re: Noob question about wool pads

Wool is for rotary and not usually used with RO's. As reported by many, MF is close to the cutting ability of a wool pad.
Hope this helps.

Re: Noob question about wool pads

^^ Thank you so much so basically, the MF pads and correct polish will net me the results needed on badly maintained paint....for the most part?

Re: Noob question about wool pads

You may go with meguiars MF system - MF pads and D300/D301 combo.
