I think a lot of people use orange is because they are hesitant to use the strongest cut of anything in polishing and often they are not needed. I can also tell you I was able to burn through clear coat with this combo and a PC 7424 on 6 trying to get out a scratch using way too much pressure(live and learn).
OK! Good thing to know! i never guessed you could actually burn through pain with a DA
When i tried mine, with menzerna power gloss (Compound) i could hear that it sound stronger than anything i heard before.. and i actually used it very carefully.
