    Flat or CCS?

going to order some more 5.5" for my PC and already have the CCS which i havent used yet...yet. do you guys through experience like the flat pads better simply because of the polish not getting stuck in the pores? i was thinking the flats would clean more easily but i havent tried either so i was looking for suggestions from those who have used both. I personally like the flats better than the ccs. It is more personal preferance than anything to me. I like the feel of them and cleaning them is easier (for me). I am using 6.5 pads though and I have a good friend who likes the 5.5 ccs better than the flat. Again I think its all personal preferance

    Re: Flat or CCS?

If you are running a PC then imo you are better off with the flat pads. Flat pads = more pad contact which could mean faster correction. If you were using 6.5" pads then I think there could be an argument for the CCS pads but with the 5.5" pads I would want all 5.5" contacting the paint using a DA. Your best bet is to try them both in a side by side test and see what works best for you.

I prefer flat over anything else (CCS, VC, Edge).

The flat pads are my favorite. Also everyone will have a personal preferance
