Can the spritz sealant....

Be used on wheels after a coat of Chemical Guys wheel sealant? My new rear wheels are going to see a lot of brake dust. They just collect it with the new OEM pads I installed. (May end up taking the loss and buying ceramic pads). I was wondering if they spritz would be beneficial on wheels also, or would the heat break it down to fast?

Heres the wheels in question, yes. Fun to clean and wax.....

Re: Can the spritz sealant....

First off.......AWESOME COLOR, AWESOME WHEELS AND AWESOME ADD ONS! Its perfect IMO!!!

I've used my spray sealants on my wheels and yes, it works great and makes clean up a breeze but your idea of going with ceramic pads is a good one anyways, why have dirty wheels when you can do something about it and make the car brake better too?!

Also, nice to see someone with such a nice ride that auto-X's it as well!

Re: Can the spritz sealant....

Thank you very much.

Well It would be no doubt on the pads if I hadn't just bought the OEM ones. I don't remember this much dust on my old wheels and my old pads. Which all got changed the day I go these wheels.

So I'm good with using the spray sealant? Is using the wheel wax and then the sealant over kill, or perfect?

Re: Can the spritz sealant....

The OEM pads on my dad's 07 Mustang dust like crazy as well with some spirited driving. I put some WG Spritz Sealant on his rims before we took it on the Hot Rod Power Tour this year. Made cleaning the dust off a breeze. A QD was enough to clean them.

Love those rims with the rest of your mods.

Re: Can the spritz sealant....

Thank you guys. Now I just have to rewash them and get them ready for the Spritz sealant. lol

Now I have to spend some MORE money on new pads.
