Black T-Bird

Black T-Bird

Hi Mike,

I own the Black T-Bird you taped on "Whats in the garage". I did not know who you were or your background when you showed up for the taping. However, I watched the Polishing DVD you gave me and watched other video's you have on Autogeek and I now know more about you.

After watching the DVD and your other video's, I wanted to let you know that I purchased the Autogeek show car polish package and I used the kit and your techniques from the video's on my T-Bird last night and I loved the results. My car looks awesome.

Thanks for the DVD and it was a true pleasure meeting you.

Looking forward to April 3rd and the debut of the show.

Take care,

Rick Wedgeworth

Re: Black T-Bird

Wow!

Thanks Rick!

It was a real pleasure meeting you and filming your car and your "Car Guy" story. I'm glad the DVD helped and it's really cool you pursued your interest in detailing to the point that it led you to our detailing discussion forum.

I have some pictures we took of your car while we were there filming, give me a few minutes and I'll post a few...

Loved your Thunderbird by the way, my dad has a 1965 so I'm familiar with "buffing one out",

Maybe you could share a little about the engine you built and installed when you get a chance.

Here's a picture of Rick's 1964 Ford Thunderbird...

Cool story and lots of customizations to this old Bird...

Re: Black T-Bird

Here we go... this isn't all of them but I'll post more later...
(working on a DetailFest Project behind the scenes)

Here you can see Brendan, the Engineer and Scott, the #1 Cameraman shooting the car...

This T-bird was highly customized and as clean as a whistle...

I'll let Rick tell us about the motor but as you can see... the engine compartment is completely STUFFED with motor...

Rick and I after shooting Rick's segment...

Hi Rick -
The T-bird is looking sweet.
