Pretty much, that's because the techniques will work with both types of LSP's...

Kind of, but
outside the forum world you never know who might see one video but not the other video?
And as far as I know, in both these videos, it's the first time the
reason why to use straightlines has ever been explained. I've seen people
recommend using straightlines all the time but they never explain
why...
I typed up the reason why in 1994 on the Usenet Newsgroups, long before this thing called a
"Discussion Forum" was ever invented as documented in the below article...

At the end of the day, people can find a way that works best for them...
Sometimes I switch from one technique to a different technique just to refresh my my skill sets and my memory to better be able to write about and demonstrate all kinds of detailing techniques...
