What color of cyclo pads should I use with HD Speed? Also, does HD Speed remove clear coat or is it a cleaner?
Thanks!
This goes for all AIO:
The pad you choose is dependent on the paint. You want a pad that cuts the most but also finishes haze free. So you likely won't be able to get 95%+ or even 85%+ correction because you want a pad that also finishes without marring.
HD Speed has abrasives so it does remove clear coat.
From your edit question:
I would tape up anything that needs to be protected, and in regards to rubber trim that could be damaged whether or not the product stains it so I always tape it up. I haven't had a chance to use my bottle of Speed yet though so I can't say if it does or does not stain plastic.

I have a 09 Silverado, hard paint. Just not sure on the pad selection. Thanks for your help.
On VW hard clear I use Speed with Buff & Shine orange lite cutting pads and get very good correction and a great finish ready for a coat of Poxy to add a little extra protection.
