    DIY Rubber Care Sticks

You might have seen rubber care sticks before, they are sold by Ennszett, Sonax, Wurth, 303 etc.

    Video example: https://youtu.be/2jrXyt1TC88

You can make your own with your favourite rubber restorer/conditioner very easily.

These are sold as a "mop" at graffiti supply stores or "dauber/dabber" at craft supply stores.

They are refillable, the tips are replaceable and come in different sizes (a couple bucks for a pair of them usually).

I realize this might not be anything new to some of you but its new for me and I'm looking forward to using them.

I'll be filling one up over the weekend and using it on my cars.

What are you going to fill it up with? AFAIK the products sold that way (Gummipfledge, 303, etc.) are unique products, it's not just the standard dressing in a different bottle.

    Re: DIY Rubber Care Sticks

I haven't decided yet yet, in the garage I have the following I'm considering:

    Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Care
    Autoglym Bumper and Trim Gel
Garry Dean's Rubber, Vinyl, Plastic and Leather Protectant
HD Protect Leather, Rubber, Vinyl, Plastic Protectant
Prima Nero Vinyl, Rubber & Plastic Protectant
    303 Aerospace Protectant
Some gel in a transparent green bottle that I've forgotten the name of.

And maybe a few more I don't reacall at the moment.

These are all suitable for use on rubber seals, most of them are made specifically for it.

Normally with the products above you would either spray it on and possible get over spray on paint/windows/interior, or apply it to a cloth/applicator and wipe it on.

This method would be very much the same as putting it on an applicator and applying it.

If you have something you are going to put on your rubber seals anyway, putting it in one of these will not have any adverse effects.
