    Resurrecting old posts

So is there etiquette about resurrecting old posts to get answers? In other words, if I find an old post that relates to a question I have is it ok to post on that thread or should a new one be started. Personally I see nothing wrong with using an old post to get answers.

This forum is so friendly and packed with knowledge and information that I personally don't feel that it matters either way. Which ever way is your preference

To me it depends on the situation . For instance if a convo was happening about the rupes 21 and it's old it would certainly be about the 21es. Now if you start talking on that old thread about the mark 2 then should gave likely made a new thread. If I'm researching and I don't find the answer I will usually start a new thread with a specific question as long as there isn't another recent one allready

    It never bothers me.

I write a lot of articles and for the most part the information shared is written in a way to be accurate in the future as when it was written.

The exception would be new products or updated products but in most cases, the actual how-to information is accurate as is a lot of the peripheral information.

    I say go for it.

I personally find old posts resurrected beneficial sometimes because i may have missed the original thread.
