    Best outcome with sealant?

Hey guys before I apply a sealant what should I wipe down with before hand to get the best results? Also I had a question as far as dusting. When I get done doing correction work and there is dusting what is the best way to get rid of it all? Wash the car again or what?

    IMO:
•It's best to follow the manufacturers'
    recommendations/directions/instructions.

-If there is no mention, from them, specifying
    a "wipe-down"...then I don't perform one!

    Mr BrianJM,

In general for sealants ( synthetics/silicones ) there has been some experimentation providing some proof their attributes improve with a 'paint prep' product, something along the lines of Eraser. That would also remove dusting at the same time.

As a comparison Optimum has us using OCW for removing any dusting, and it does that fine, but its not a 'paint prep' product so theoretically it would not improve sealant behavior.

Also if you are staying within the product line synergy this is also purported to improve product behavior.

IF it's bad it's just easier to rinse it down.after every panel I polish I try to keep things easy by a wiping with eraser before sealant. But I rarely don't have a dusting promblem.
