Menzerna Polishing Compounds of Germany has set new standards for workability, uniformity, performance, and quality. Why else would Mercedes Benz use Menzerna polishes to perfect the finishes on their brand new vehicles?

2004 GTO on PoorBoys

So a couple of my club members are getting married tomorrow. I told them that as a wedding present I'd detail their car for them. The car was in pretty good shape other than just about every panel that could have swirl marks had swirl marks.
Process
Wash
Clay
Vacuum
Wipe down interior with Z10 and Mother's back to black
Sprayed wheels, tires, and wheel wells with PB's APC
PB's SSR2.5 w/orange pad @ speed 5
PB's SSR1 w/white pad @ speed 5
PB's EX w/Blue pad @ speed 3. Removed w/MF
Tires dressed w/Z16
Then I ran out of daylight. Monday I'll get a coat of Natty's Blue done.
On with the pics

Before:

The spoiler met the garage door:

After washing and claying:

Passenger's Fender after PB's SSR2.5 and SSR1:

Quarter 50/50 shot:

Finito shots:

Thank you. He's going to get some full daylight shots for me in the morning. I told his mom and dad that if anyone decorated the car they'd incur my wraith...lol

looking good, I actually met someone in my town with an IBM 04 GTO today, that color cleans up nice. How did you like the PB polishes? I was reading on another forum, and alot of people were bashing the polishes to no end. They seemed to work well for me though. Good job

Thanks. Yes, this color cleans up great. Almost as good as the PBM.
I like the PB's polishes. They are easy to work with and you can't argue with the results. I'm finding that no matter what forum you're on someone finds a product to bash to no end. No complaints from me at all.

That's just crazy talk! Poorboy's World makes great polishes and other products too. LittlemissGTO just proved it!

Looks great. That's a good blue it finishes off nicely. It was nice of you to do that as a present.
