M45: DG for 1st time :)

This M45 belongs to a good friend of mine who had me detail it for him last year. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily it clayed since it sits outside 24/7. I polished using XMT 360 which I know works wonders on metallics..especially with Metallica playing in the background!!! As usual, a damn fine cigar supplemented the effort.

The Process:

Exterior:

Wash
Clay with Clay Magic
Wheels done with ARO
Tires with DG gel
Wheels sealed with DG 105.
Wells with Crappy Tire Shine
Paint compounded with XMT 360, orange pad, UDM @ 6
Misc scratches done with SIP, Rotary, wool pad
DG 501 applied/removed by hand
DG 601 applied by hand
DG 105 applied/removed by hand
AW
Exterior trim treated with Mothers Back to Black
Glass with Stoners IG and 2 step MFs

Interior:
Mat stains treated with Folex
Mats cleaned and power-washed
Interior vacuumed complete
Plastic cleaned with Woolite/H20 1:10
Door jams cleaned with Woolite 1:10
All plastic and leather surfaces treated with 303 Aerospace
Wood treated with 303 Aerospace

That car started out pretty good so I thought how much can richy do to this one. Then I saw the first "after". Wow, you really made it bling. Still like the wide stripes too.

Excellent job Richy. What kind of camera are you using? Those photos are the best I've seen.

I was thinking the same thing. Every time he posts I end up looking at the houses more than the cars.

Good job richy, you keep doing a bang off a job on the vehicles, well done buddy. I've found that silver is a very rewarding paint if done properly, you can actually get nice depth on silver and the it to look/feel so smooth. Well done....but yea your neighborhood wow incredable houses buddy...looks like they are castles rather then houses lol.

Thank you for sharing
