Black BMW 330i Driveway Detail and used Menzerna IP

Well, I had a detail to do on the black 330i that was in pretty good shape. Just had some light swirls and needed the finish brought to black depth again. I decided to give Menzerna IP a go since I've never used it before. I'm impressed! It polishes down very nicely (yea...it's dusty..but so are most polishes). I used the Metabo rotary and the Festool where needed with polishing pads. I've become a fan of the Meguiar's So1o pads and backing plate. The pads also fit the slightly larger backing plate on the Festool perfectly.

Here's a couple of before shots. I didn't have a ton of time for picture taking like I do at the shop and it was clouding up during the detail. In fact, it sprinkled rain when the customer picked up the car.

Before's

After's. Following the Menzerna, I used XMT 360 and a top coat of Souveran. Nice combo with a sealant then a carnuba.

Nice work Toto. That Bimmer came out awesome. I guess your full time detailing is starting to pay off...
