| | | Volvo XC90 Black Volvo XC90 This detail was a birthday present for my customer from her husband. Her SUV has not really been taken care of at all. It just turned 50,000 miles it is mostly used to run the kids around town and it’s also her workhorse for her gardening supplies. This was a full detail and boy it was in need of one! Unfortunately my camera broke right at the start of this detail. I was able to get one “before” shot and that was it. My customer was gracious enough to let me use her camera for the after shots. I didn’t take too many pics because she was going to e-mail them to me and I didn’t want to put her out. Besides she would have thought I was a bit of a Geek if she saw how many pics I normally take. I’m kicking myself because I had my phone with me but didn’t even think to use it for pics. Duh! Embedded Mini-Review I had a chance to use the Surf City Voodoo leather rejuvenator in this SUV. Here is my initial take on it. The seats had seen better days but they weren’t awful so I went to work on them with Voodoo. The product is very creamy and goes on smoothly. It reminded me a lot of Pinnacle Leather Cleaner and Conditioner which is what I’ve been using all along. Voodoo was not oily or greasy at all and it has a nice leather scent to it. It did a very nice job of cleaning the seats and after buffing it off the seats were soft to the touch and not tacky or oily. I liked this product after its initial use and will continue to use it. My customer commented on how good the seats looked and she loved the scent too. Here’s the Detail: Exterior Wash – DP Xtreme w/foam gun, dry w/Ultimate Guzzler Clay – Clay Magic Blue with CM Lube Polish – Menzerna 106ff on Edge Blue pad via PC 50/50 wipe down Wax – SSII by Hand Tires – DP Wheel Gel – Black ShMitt, DG 265, Wells - AA Foam Windows – DP Krystal Vision Glass/WW towel Diamondite Plasti-Care on lenses Trim – 303 Protectant Engine – DP Engine Degreaser, plastics and hoses touched up with AA Foam Diamondite Plasti-Care on all inside and outside lenses Interior Full Vacuum Mats – Vacuumed and Folex Carpet – Folex for Tough Stains Interior Cleaned with Water/Woolite DP Surface Protectant Diamondite Plasti-Care on Lenses DG 371 Absorb-It Leather Surfaces - Surf City Voodoo Blend Leather Rejuvenator As always your comments and questions are welcome. Thanks for looking. Before After

| | | Very nice work, Alice! Looks shiny and reflective. Nasty water spots and swirls on the hood on the BEFORE pic. Did you take more AFTERS?
Thanks for the Voodoo review.

| | Gary I don't know why the pic won't show up. Maybe it's some kind of wierd Voodoo magic going on here. j/k
I was thrown off using a different camera and like I said I didn't want to take too many pics. I totally forgot about interior pics. This detail was one stupid thing going wrong after another. I still had fun though.

| | You know from the after pictures you posted it does show the work you put in to it. Just look at the sun reflection, flaw less....no swirls just a nice solid colour. Well done, looks good. Besides who needs lots off pictures, it's not like we expect lots of picture ....hahaha just teasing Al.
Good job on that vehicle and thank you for sharing with us. |
