Whatever you're getting FMINUS, don't get rid of your current beaut of an M3!!!

engine has more power, suspension, brakes are straight off the Gallardo etc, think regular 3 series vs M3, Vette vs Z06 version etc. I love the way the RS4 looks, but it drives like such a porker for its size, heavy little b*stard, you really feel the weight on the track. Engine is fantastic, rips right to redline witha wicked growl.

I personally, and I know Scott pry as well, can't wait for the 09' CTS-V. The new CTS has an awsome interior, and GM is looking to have the V b!tch slap the competition . I almost bought an E39 M5, and then drove an 05' V and it blew me away how good it was, M5 had the edge in the interior but everything else inlcuding handling went to the V, nevermind the mod capability blew the M5 outta the water.

But how about the exterior? The Europeans have that down like no one's business. It has to look good before I buy it, no matter how fast or slow it is.

The brakes on the Gallardo, Audi, Z06 and a lot of other high end cars are Brembo brakes. A lot of the calipers come painted and have the car manufacturer's name painted on them even though they are Brembo brakes.

But different sizes and specs, can't remember offhand but the specs for Gallardo spec brakes were used on the RS4 if I recall, probably why Audi would just state it uses "brakes from Gallardo" and dipped into the VAG parts bin lol.

I liked the edgy style of the last V especially in silver or black, new CTS looks sharp so can't wait to see what the 09' V will look like, new interior is awsome. Still think the RS4 is sharp looking, but it just drove like a heavy porker for its size, engine is fantastic but was expecting it to be quicker then it was, personally think the new M3 is ugly and RS4 beats it hands down in the looks department. Listen to an RS4 with custom exhaust, what a friggen sound, sounds like an exotic/american V8 combo.

There are number of different Brembo braking systems used. The difference in performance and cost can be very significant. I was just making the point that a lot of high end cars are using Brembo braking systems even though most manufacturers like Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari etc. are painting their name on the calipers.
