Nica: yep, I use the blue painter's tape. The tape with the plastic apron is fairly expensive (I think it was $10 and we can get 2 vehicles wrapped with that amount). It is easy to apply and certainly saves cleanup time on those SUV bumpers! I will probably reserve that apron tape for vehicles with lots of black plastic cladding.

Thank you for the info Toto, that appron sounds good. Price wise perhaps not the cheapest but as long as it does the job and it does it well that's all that matters.

Tommy: I use a DeWalt rotary for 75% of the work and a Metabo rotary with a small backing plate and pad for 25% (the Metabo works better in tighter body areas).

I use the 3M cutting pad for the compounding, a 3M Glaze pad for finishing, and the Ultrafina blue pad.

For final steps (Meguiar's #26), I use the Meguiar's 9006 pad and Festool.

I see you are from Thailand. I just saw a televsion program with Barry Meguiar presenting the Car Crazy Award to a Thai businessman. Great news.
