| | That is a great truck, you sure turned that bad boy around though. That 50/50 picture is wicked, the difference you made on it is incredable. Black colour vehicles are very rewarding when detailed properly, I look forward on detailing black vehicles as I know how they will look like at the end.
The engine bay looks wicked very nice, you did a great job there.
By the way, what kind of gloves do you use? Oh and I like your house/neighborhood looks really nice.
Thank you for sharing. |

Thank you for sharing. | The gloves are SafeSkin purple Nitrile gloves. They are more durable , a little thicker, and more chemical resistant than regular latex. I like them and I can buy them at the local Wally world. Yeah we really like the neighborhood. Only bad house is the one across the street you can see in a few of the pics. Family had it burn down about a month ago, everyone got out safe but still a tragedy.
You were my inspiration on this as I said I was a little overwhelmed at first but remembered your mantra about BIG vehicles .
joe.p - You are the man if you drive one of those. I have had to drive a few of these while detailing and only for short distances so I admire anyone who handles the bad toys all day! |

You were my inspiration on this as I said I was a little overwhelmed at first but remembered your mantra about BIG vehicles . | I picked up a box of...mmm...?? can't remember the name but they are blue, thick as heck...I put them on and while I was cleaning the engine bay they got stuck on some corners and never riped. Couldn't beleave they never riped, I completed the vehicle and they held out good, took them off and hung them to dry...when I get home I'll look at the name of the box but boy they are some heavy duty gloves. My hands thanked me for it, had never used gloves before but the difference they make is incredable.
As for the size of the vehicles, they aren't that bad once you get going on them. Size mean's nothing when it comes to detailing, may take a little longer but just keep at it and soon you will see that it's all done and the results/expresion of the customer makes it all worth it
Thanks for sharing oh and sorry to hear about your neighbors. |

| | | No wonder the More Shine runs out so quick - that thing had acres of stuff to treat with it. You really brought back that black gloss, too. Nice!

AWESOME detail! Great turnaround! Love the Before/After, close-up of the door. Really showed the difference from dull to awesome reflections! Even on the hood as well. You're right, that black looks wet and shows off some nice reflections. Now the owner can show off his truck as well as his showcars. Great job!
Very nice engine detail. Question...what did you use to remove all that gunk and acid build-up around the battery posts? Just ARO and a brush?

| | alban- Yep that's all I used - ARO and a brush. That stuff (ARO) is amazing. That was my first time using it and I was really impressed! Thanks for the compliments they mean a lot coming from the originator of my signature shot. Thanks again for that as I was feeling a little bad about not having one . |
