Not sure if I can save this one...

Severe acid rain and water spot etchings on this black Chevy Silvarado. Not sure if I can save this one or not. 3M Trizact 1500/3000 is the trick but paint thickness readings even just after initial polishing are in the danger zone. Just not a lot to work with here. We will see how it goes. Hopefully we can avoid a lights-on respray. No promises.

Nice save. What were the readings with your PTG? Was the clear OEM or repaint?

PTG readings after sanding and initial polishing averaged about 130 mils but as low as 79. 100 is the danger zone for me. OEM paint.
