WOW! Awesome job, and a HUGE job!! That truck is gleaming. All that chrome too! They'll be proud to drive that truck around. Screw the flashing lights.....the reflection of the sun would be enough to warn anyone they're coming! LOL

pirex - I'm glad you liked it my friend, oh I had lots of fun detailing this one. It's funny because as I was detailing I just had a big grin in my face through out the entire detail hahahahaha, just couldn't help it I was having so much fun hahahaha. Oh but the best part was putting the wax on it, man that was a blast hahahaha. I'm glad you enjoyed the write up bro, I played around a bit with the format but it turned out nice. About the Optimum, I'll see if Larry will join in and comment on the tip he gave me, I don't want to stile his thunder. If he dosen't join in, then I'll tell you the tip he gave me.

Brandon1 - Thank you, glad you like it. I was chatting with my friends partner and he was telling me the same, that most fire department keep these vehicles for a long time but will hardly ever get detailed like this. It's shame becuase they aren't cheap to begin with and man when they are detailed they look incredable. Thank you for the kind words and glad you enjoyed it.

joe.p - I was thinking of you and Al when I detailed, since you guys were having BBQ ribs . No sir, no job to big for me. Always love a good challenge. Haven't backed down from a challenge yet and hoping that I never will. Glad you liked it my friend. hahaha what can I say joe, I've made some good friends

dengood1 - Oh I got cha now..lol...yea I look back and it's a blur now lol..had way to much fun with this one hahahaha.

Al-53 - Thank you Al, I'm glad it get's the experts approval. Oh the arms, hahaha yea the arms felt it.....a....bit . Jet Airliner now that's a challenge...give me a week and I can do it

Reddwarf - Yup, every inch of that bad boy clayed. Went though quite a bit of Ricardo Clay. The fron was the worst part oh and the roof man was tough. I literally was on the rough and was very carfull not to damage anything up there. Oh and the roof finished the first have of the clay bar, the clay pulled metal flakes, so when I saw that I decided to just through the one I was using out and then get another piece out...then had to through that one out too.

CalgaryDetail - Yea, shame we couldn't hook up buddy. But this wont be the last one I do . Yea, I'm satisfied with the LSP choice. I could really notice the difference. Glad you like it and thank you for the kind words.

alban61 - hahaha yea if the lights dont get people attention the reflection of the sun or the reflection of there vehicle as the truck goes by should get some attention hahahaha. It's a shame though, there is still some mechanical work to be done to it so who knows if it's going to get dirty again. I told them to try to keep it clean lol but both my friend and his partner were very pleased

bill walsh - Thank you for the kind words, lol...yup it has some large panels glad you liked it.

Jimmie - Oh yea it was glowing, to bad I couldn't get it out side and take a picture. That picture, no. No latter on that one, just me standing in front of it. Glad you liked it jimmie.

07ImpalaSS - Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.

richy - Thank you richy, well I used a combination of P21S Polishing Soap and soap and water, Meg's Gold Class and white or black ShMITT. P21S Polishing Soap is a very sweet product but it's not meant for anodized parts and some parts where anodized and others weren't on this vehicle, that's the information I got from the manufacture of the vehicle. So I used P21S Polishing Soap on the areas that were not anodized and regular soap and water on the rest.

Rey05 - Thank you, glad you liked it.

Wow that looks cool, must have been fun detailing that fire truck. THanks for the abundance of pictures . The wheel wells look good, especially since they're painted. I wish all wheel wells are painted Gah your hand looks pretty burnt from the squeezing of the drying towel, I hate it when that happens. It sucks finding out what sort of important tools you have available AFTER you do a detail. I kept wishing I had a leaf blower and I never knew my dad had one until my friend saw it in the garage, it was right smack where I can see it easily .
