1999 BMW M3 convertible

The owner left this car with me while they went on vacation. It was really nice having the extra time and being able to work on it for just a few hours a day, rather than spending one full tiring day with it. This car was a respray with very soft clear.

I used a few products new to me on this detail. First was the LC foamed wool pad. I really like this pad for compounding. I had been using regular foam cutting pads, but never really liked how stiff they were. I found the foamed wool pad much easier to work with and got some really nice results. There were some holograms after compounding, but that was expected. They cleaned up easily with the finish polish. I have no idea if this pad would work with the PC, but if you're using a rotary it's a great pad.

I also tried the Menzerna pro line for the first time. I'd used IP and FPII in the past, but was never really impressed by them. But the Powergloss, SIP, and PO106FF worked very well - corrected quickly and removed very easily. My only complaint was the dusting. I've become spoiled by the minimal dusting of the Optimum lineup.

Interior (forgot to take after pics):
Vac
Wash mats with 303 APC dillution
DP interior cleaner
303 vinyl/plastic
Pinnacle leather conditioner on the seats
FK425 interior glass

Exterior:
Wash
Sonus green clay
Powergloss with LC foamed wool pad @ 1700 rpm
SIP on the trunk with LC orange pad @ 1700 rpm (I noticed it needed a little more work after the Powergloss)
PO106FF with LC white pad - ramped up then down from 1100 - 1700 - 1100 rpm
RaggTopp cleaner and protectant on the top
Poorboy's Trim Restorer
AA wheel wells
DP tire gel
4* UPP x2
Souveran Paste
FK425 wipedown

Thanks, everyone!

klumzy, I used DP wheel gel and one of those blue bristle brushes - I think they're called EZ detail brushes...somthing like that.
