| Detailed: Volvo 850
Got this car yesterday, from a customer. Detailed it today. The car is a Volvo 850, and the paint was baaad! The hood has haze all over! I had to do the hood 2 times with the metabo. The rest of the car had some hazing to, but not so mutch! The car came out great! Used about 6 houers!
Wash:
Degreaser on the lower panels
Clayed with pinnacle ultra clay
To buckets metode, with optimum car shampoo
Wheels washed with Meguiars hot wheels
Dp tire gloss on the tires.
Paint:
Menzerna 106ff with orange pad with the metabo/
Pinnacle 360 on blue pad with the PC
Topped with WG DGS
303 on trim
Interior:
Vaccumed
Meguiars APC
Autoglym vinyl protect DP krystal clear on windows inside and outside.

Great work, Pirex! Nice turnaround on that hazed/oxidized paint on the hood! Car looks great now, with nice reflections. Looks like you brought all your goodies out to play! I see them stacked on the table. LOL Nice, growing collection you got there, bro!

Nice looking Volvo, really like the way it turned out. On the before pictures the paint looked in really bad shape and almost looked like clear coat failure. You sure did a great job turning that vehicle around. My Volvo looks the same, exterior wise. I wish mine was manual but I still enjoy it.
Great job there pirex, question for you. How was the paint for removing the swirls? Hard, soft, medium? Just wondering.

Nica: Thanks buddy! The car was really bad, and the hood was sick! But the metabo fixed it all  Your volvo is pretty similar, but a bit larger
I would say medium! I have had harder, but softer to! If audi is hard, and toyota is soft, this is medium

DAMN! Now that is a before and after when looking at the hood, amazing work! I have a soft spot for the 850 though, my grandfather has one EXACTLY like this one and my brother's second car is an 850R. LOVE IT!  | |
