2003 Accord S100 Topped with AW

2003 Accord Satin Silver Metallic with 101k miles

Process:
DG 901 Wash
Megs QD
S100 Topped with AW (AW on windows as well)
Amazing Roll Off (Wheels/Wells/Engine)
303 on Mud Flaps & Plastic Engine Parts
Stoners Shine on Wheels/Wells

The S100 was a joy to work with, apply lightly.

The directions say "for best results do not let get to full haze".. but I decided to le it haze and I sprayed 1-3 pumps of DG AW on top of the nuba, one spray on a mf and buffed off.

The finish is Extremely slick.... I can't tell how it worked with my flake as the sun decided to hide behind some clouds.

I'll take some pics of the engine tomorrow.

Very nice, I love the way the wheel wells turned out very nice.

The paint looks really good, hard color to get any depth on but looks really nice.

Thanks for sharing, very nice detail

It looks very nice! Quite the shine!
You're right though - can't see the flakes in those shots. Still looks awesome!
What made you pick that wax? Just wondering. I have some as well and I like it, but I hear a lot of criticisms because of its containing beeswax. Just thought I would ask what you thought.

Thanks - 1st pics on ag, I am very happy with the product combo on the wheels (Roll-off, 303, stoners for the plastic parts of the well/flaps, and roll-off, stoners on the tires)

You are right depth is so hard with this color paint, hard to diaplay in a picture that's for sure!

I decided to try it because I got it for relatively cheap. Plus with the mixed reviews to such wide sides of the spectrum, I decided I needed to try it for myself.

I loved the finish yesterday, products were sliding right off the car.

After waking up and looking at it in the light of day, I think the S100 would be best for a darker color... Still not seeing too much flake pop.

Definitely something I will keep in my arsenal for the right customer/car.

I have two cans of Meg's #16 on the way and I'm interested to try that out, I think I want to try some Pinnacle SII as well... Anyone want to trade maybe..ha ha!!

After I try the meg's #16 I'm doing DG 101/601/105/951...

to AG, the forums and the members this place is awesome!!!

Thanks...

Regarding AW#951, I've been told that it is a sealant, lots of things are incorrectly called a "QD" just because you can spray them on..

If AW is used too often it will cause muting and or haze.. it can be used as a lsp to really make it jump. I only use it once a month, if I am using a true QD I'll use megs.

This is the 1st time I used it on top of hazed wax.... I'd do it again..

I meant to put it in my #1 wash bucket but I forgot

I am generally pleased with the S100/AW combo, but feel it would be best on a dark color.

I can only imagine with the right paste wax or sealant topped with the AW#951 then buffed woo hoo.. uhh huh!!!

ooops, sorry i forgott "great" in there, it was supose too be "AW is a great QDer" not "AW is a QDer"

I too keep it as a Once a month "QDer" after wash i use the Pinnacle CM. Anyway it looks great.

Do you also put it in your wash bucket?

Ohh, ok gotcha... I also use as a lsp once a month in between washes and then in between AW lsp app's I use S100 S&W w/ carnuba.

I have never put AW in my wash bucket before, I wanted to try it this wash but forgot - something to look forward to next time.

Car looks great! Very nice reflections! Thanks for the write-up. That's a neat idea to use AW as a QD to buff off the wax after it hazes.
