Latest detail vs. Kenworth big rig and filthy F-350.

Ok guys, here are some highlights of my last detailing week.

First up is a 2006 Kenworth Day-Cab for a local farmer that hauls chickens. He wants it cleaned every other week, pretty good for a trucker.

Process was

Wash with Duragloss CWC
Degrease with MS Purple Power 5:1 on frame/wheels/tires
Dry with Guzzler
Interior with MQID and IG
Tires/wells/frame with MS Poly Dressing
Paint with VM and OCW
Rims with Zepher Metal polish and Power Ball.

More to come............

Next up is a 2001 F-350 work truck that has to be one of the worst trucks I have ever done. The before/after pics are drastic even though the afters are in the dark.

Wash with Purple Power and DG CWC w/Brush
Dry with air
Interior soaked with Purple Power at 5:1 on everything.
Dressed on interior with MS Poly Dressing
Glass with IG
Paint with Color-X via rotary
Wheels with Zepher metal polish
All trim/tires/wells dressed with MS Poly Dressing.

Befores

Afters

Hope yall enjoy

EDIT: I know I missed the bug on the KW grill.

that's funny you mentioned the bug.... the big rig looks AWESOME!!! i would love to detail something like that, but it looks you have a huge barn you could pull it into. if i did something like that i would have to have a foam gun, seems like it would make things easier. but non the less, paint awesome reflection, that guy has to have the nicest chicken haulin truck in the area. on the Ford, doesn't seem like all the dirt and grime came out... can't blame ya, it looked nasty to the 10th degree. but great job

Hopefully you dont mind my criticism, but the after shots of the interior on the F350 arent too impressive. Did the owner just want a vacuum?

Just my opinion though, not trying to piss you off.

Owner just wanted the interior wiped down. Did not want a full out interior cleaning.

I think that given the starting point and time involved, the interior shots are very impressive.

Well I understand your doing what you got paid for and start to finish it does look better.

Personally I wouldn't of done the truck(without charging for a full detail inside)...because my OCD wouldn't kicked in and I couldn't return the truck with all the dirt left inside.

I mean, yeah I get that. But it is a "Work" truck. I just looked at it yesterday and it was already back filthy. It just needed a new starting point, no need for perfection.

Well like I said my OCD is crazy...for example I did 5 full details Friday-yesterday and went through about 200 Qtips(use them to clean the vents, very small cervices that my brushes won't get) that is ridiculous but I can't help it. That is why I usually get my helper to do the inside...saves me time.
