Beautiful work as always. Tremendous outcome you achieved and your photography skills still are out of this world. Thanks again for posting and sharing, also very thorough write up.

Thanks
I'll try them on the next car I do, I'm curious, always have been but when you say it cuts faster well that makes me want to try them even more.
I use 5.5 pads, mostly foam, for the most part they work fine.
Also have a few of the CG'S MF cutting pads but in the 6.5 size but didn't fine they cut any better than my foam pads did.
Their black and orange, have you seen them or heard of them?

MF Cutting pads are the best cutting pad I have used... compared to a foam cutting pad, they cut better, faster, and finish down better. There are some tricks to help increase their life, but overall they are pretty darn durable. One small annoyance is that you have to clean them after each section (note section, not panel). I have never used MF finishing pads, I feel like foam provides a perfect finish so I haven't felt the need to try anything else.

Thanks! I try to take a bunch of snap shots throughout the process, and if I have time, I like to do a more artistic shoot before the car is picked up

Great detail, excellent write up, and superb photography. That "fence" shot is downright incredible.
How'd you handle the body lines? Tape them off, or work up to but not over?

15 hours doesn't seem too long for such a nice job. You were very thorough.
Always keep the shine in your life.

Thanks! I rarely tape off body lines... it's not a huge issue with DA machines. I typically just make them the boundary for my section pass, so I work up to them, but rarely work on top of them.

I suppose, but I always feel like there are more things I could do regardless of how long I have already spent working.
