washed MY car and fixed headlights woo hoo

Well i failed the smog test, so when i took the car to get looked at appearently the people had grime flying around in the shop. when i picked it up there were these black spots embedded into my paint......

well anyways:
Washed with DP Autobath w/ foam gun thingy and schmitt, Dried with Cobra Guzzler

Didn't really have to do much else, the stuff embedded in my paint wasn't that bad i guess :dunno:, the Natty's Blue is still holding up nicely (after 4 weeks) and there are no new swirls in the paint!

Inside was a mess, cleaned the carpets, removed a couple stains on the passenger carpet, vacuumed the whole inside, wiped down everything.

A couple months ago i posted a thread about how i saved my headlights (they were completely yellow), so i went at the lights with the PC. worked out nicely i say

Ok, Pics:

Before

black stuff

guess this is what driving behind a truck on the freeway gives you?

After Wash

the wax is holding up, and somehow there is reflexion on a white car

Me polishing the headlights

more

Clear!!!

nice reflection and clean headlights

Interior before (not bad, but still visible and annoying to me)

After

whole interior

Night shots(i need a new camera )

well, definately not one of my best, but it was fun...

oh, and right after i finished this i picked up a friend and he made the whole car dirty again haha it was nice while it lasted :tsk:

Nice looking car. I think Natty's Blue does look very good on white.

Exterior looks great!!!
Carpet is nice, but leather looks like can use some good cleaner and conditioner.
Why not try a good two step cleaner and conditioner like Pinnacle and Wolfgang?

Supercharged beat me to it! Love the BMW, very nice condition and polishing out those lights really makes a big difference. Clean carpets as well!

Buy a good leather cleaner and protectant and that interior will look even better. If you want to do a quick and efficient job, grab some Woolite and mix it 50/50 with water for cleaning. Then protect.

lol the sad thing is that the leather is clean

it's a 10 year old car that was beaten up (by me and my siblings before i knew i would be getting it). my mom used to drive it. that's about as nice as the leather is going to get, it's not dirty, but there are scratches and creases.

On the headlights i used plastX. i made a thread a while ago, where i got them to be pretty clear, but just now i used the PC to make it better.

thanks for the replies!
