Detailed - Ford Fusion / Jeep Liberty *Continued - UDM - Menzerna Line - EHUTH1

I started the thread already for everyone to get the hype up and now to unleash all the pics. I believe I stated that the UDM is here to stay and everyone needs to unload those paypal dollars or squeeze those last pennies out of that CC... I was waiting to buy this thing let alone win it. I can't say enough so on to the process.

Well if you didn't know, now you do the state of GA is under an official state wide water ban (weekends only!) Well I still sneak in the DG901 on occasion but it's back to the rinseless from here until the ban is lifted.

I going to start with after the initial wash I noticed some crazy contamination on the JEEP. I was thinking it's claying time and guess what I did.......... I have my spray bottles properly labeled but goofy me picked up some citrus degreaser by mistake and I just took off to the hood..... I know crazy huh..? I stopped for a minute and noticed some chalky white residue appearing and I said ohhhhhhhhhhh no. Anyways to make a long story short there was no damage but the hood was crazy slick! I did go back over it with QD just to check my work.

Next I cleaned the grille with a wolfgang finger pocket applicator and some 360 for the tight spots. Next thing was to get down and lay some Menzerna FP on the paint. If you have used this you know already... *No crazy color dyes, no fruity smell, just hardcore polish that demands results. I applied about a 4x4 X on my orange pad and smeared it on then worked it in like any other polish.. Side to side and up and down on speed 3. Next I bumped it up to 6 and with surprise this thing took off. I worked the FP for about 45sec-1min and BAM results! I couldn't believe it, but I had to and move on to the next section I finished up and the car was slick but not slick enough. I went with the Menzerna glaze and with just small amounts of application this stuff added crazy depth and reflections were getting better by the minute.

I pulled the car back out into the sun and check my work. The FP dusted just a bit, but I was determined to re-wash @ the end. Finally I decided let just set this thing off and put this Jeep on the "STARE" list. Out came the Pinnacle Souveran Paste and then came the true blue this Jeep had to offer.

Wells - AA Tire Foam
Tires - AA Extreme Gel
Trim - 303
Glass - Stoners IG with Clearkote Quikshine Topping
Interior Plastic - Dusted and dressed with AIM Rubber & Vinyl Dressing
Engine - AA Tire Foam

The rest of the detail consisted of a carpet shampoo and nit picky inside detail, but at days end this Jeep was ready to take back. The customer had been getting the new car fever and after she noticed the Jeep her jaw dropped and said "Wow! So much for a new car, I have one right here.." I always like that kinda feedback, but it's few and far between. Here are the rest of the pics.

I did the same process on the Ford Fusion, but I didn't make the first mistake with the degreaser This one was fun! I kinda looked at this thing at the end and it looked like a small GTO. It was peppy to for a V6.

Afters

WOW! That's the nicest Liberty I've seen!! Thanks for the review and the pics! Gotta add Menzerna Glaze to my shopping cart. Did you use the UDM to apply the glaze? What did you use on the tires? They look dark and glossy.....perfect compliment to that deep and glossy BLUE! Awesome detail job!!

how is the glaze as a protectant like say compared to Wolfgang DGPS? Would it be effective to top the glaze with the wolfgang and then follow with the the pinnacled souv paste? Or is that just a waste?

The car looks incredible by the way, I imagine the Mezerna is flying off the shelves right now with these pics you're posting.

Your results are astounding. That blue has so much depth and the reflections are crazy.

With finished products like this I think UDM stands for U Da Man.
Sparkie add that to your list.

That Jeep does look great Eric as well as the Fusion. It's nice to have a happy customer.

I think the rainey season my have finally started in Florida. The last 2 days we had late afternoon showers in SW Florida typical of the summer rainey season. I hope you get some rain up in Georgia too and they lift the water restrictions.
