Blue Scion tC

This is my friend's Scion tC, and I decided to help him detail and teach him a few things. He told me he has swirls as well, and I found out why. His lambs wool mitt has grit in it, and a twig , and he doesn't laundry his microfibers. Good thing I brought my Shmitts and my bucket and my Cobra microfibers. He doesn't use the two bucket method. I'm glad I was there to guide and help him. Recently he did a clay (he has Meguiar's Aggressive, which shocked me. I'm surprised I didn't see marring from the clay when I looked at the car under the sun, but he has a bit of swirling which doesn't look too bad), Meguiar's 3 step system, NXT wax, and Gold Class wax. I wanted to try my new Signature Series II on his hood.

Wheels: 1 bucket with grit guard, Gold Class shampoo (first time I've used this, and I really like it), wheel shmitt. He said he hasn't been cleaning his rims for a while, and his brush tool is exposing the wire that the bristles are stuck to! He really liked the wheel shmitt. I also showed him that he can use his car shampoo to clean his rims, which I guess he never knew. I'm trying to get him to buy some of the good stuff .

Wash: A bucket he bought from target that has a grit guard looking thingy on the bottom, a 2nd rinse bucket with grit guard, Gold class shampoo, Wash Shmitt (my friend loves it)

Dry: Ultimate guzzler with DP 4 in 1 detail spray mix for drying aid (love this combo, but I love the leaf blower more). My friend loves the guzzler, and he realized the panels were dried after practically one pass. We also dried his door jams and in the trunk where the water likes to settle with his own microfibers (they suck at absorbing though).

Wax: Signature Series II on the hood and one fender myself. Man, I could smell the wax when I was applying it smelled so gooood. He did one fender and the lip. We didn't even have to swipe anymore wax on the applicator to cover all these areas! This stuff really goes a long way, I love it! Used Cobra Jr to buff off wax.

Onto the pics, no befores, just imagine a dirty tC

Note: On his camera lense, there's a blurry spot most likely cause of a fingerprint.

Pictures don't do justice for this wax

Very nice and you had the best skeptic, the sun. The pictures under the sun look really good. Well done.

Thanks for sharing....I'm assuming your friend was blown away with the results.
