Zaino Detail 1997 F150 Truck

This is a detail of my red 1997 Ford F150. It was in need of a good spring cleanup and manage to do the detail over a 2 day period. All I can say is that Menzerna polishes rock

Total time approx 9 hours:

Day 1:

Wash with NXT wash soap and two bucket method
Clay with Megs Smooth Surface clay kit
Exterior trim treated with Ultima Tire and Trim Sealant
Tonneau cover cleaned with Megs #40
Tires dressed with Megs ASD
Interior dressed with Poorboys Natural Look
Glass cleaned with Megs NXT Glass Cleaner

Day 2

Polish with Menzerna IP via UDM and Sonus Orange pad
Polish with Menzerna FP II via UDM and Sonus Green pad
Spot polish with Sonus Orange pad (4 inch) and standard PC
Zaino Z5 ZFX'd x 3 (glass, chrome, etc)
Wipedown of Z6 in between coats
Z8 final wipedown

Great job Pat! What did you do to the engine? My F150 don't look like that.

Gary...I have a Superchip in it for towing my show car. I also have an Air Force One intake.

Your intake looks sweet. I have an enclosed car trailer and pull some cars with by F150 also. It pulls everything fine but could use some better brakes. At least my trailer has some very good electric brakes on it.

I wish my truck had a bigger V8 (only 4.6L). I would have gone with an enclosed trailer for sure. My open trailer does have electric brakes which is a very nice feature.

Very nice, I like the reflection but the orange peal is really noticable...but then again what vehicle does not have orange peal. Looks really good, I like the attention to detail.

Very nice, thanks for sharing...oh yea by the way nice pictures...how did you take the onces that make the truck look big (the lower ones)?

Looks very nice. How are you liking the UDM now that you've been using it for a while?
