That's onejob you should really be proud of. How did you like Duragloss marine products so far? Works well on boats?

and yes,DP tire gel is a must have. It smells so good too.

The amount of flake on that boat is just silly, nice work!

Too bad he lives on a gravel road, that dust he kicks up would aggrevate me!

I know the hard work that goes into a boat, first hand. Nice turnaround, it really looks like he just bought it!! Great finish!

Thanks for all the kind work guys! Like I said, I have so much more appreciation for people that like and are good at detailing boats.

supercharged,
The Duragloss products worked really well. The polish I thought did a remarkable job even with mostly hand application. While it didn't remove scratches and scuffs, it really cleaned the paint good and left a nice smooth finish for applying 845!

mshu7...I am curious to what the marine soap smelled like...I was told the auto and boat are the same but a different scent.....901 is cherry scented in case you did not have it....I would like a soap that was watermelon or patchouli scented...LOL....

glad the 501 worked for you..thats another product I was curious on....was wondering if it would do better than the 101 as far as cleaning and gloss for a base coat...

AL,

I just went out in the garage to refresh my memory on the smell of the marine soap. While I can't exactly tell what the marine soap smells like (smells good), it's definitely different than 901 which I also have. The marine soap seems to be a thicker consistancy than 901 also. Just going off the consistancy and smell, I'd say they are different but that's a very amateur guess.

As far as the polish is concerned, it's hard to say. I've never used 101 so I cannot compare it to the 501 that I used, unfortunately. I'm sure either one would work great though .

By the way, I've been bad about showing you pics of our new dogs. The pics I have on my photobucket account are just from the first week that we had them (week of April 21 I believe). I've got a few hundred more on my 'puter...hehe. I'll try to get some new ones up there soon. For now though, here they are (Bella - black, Bear - yellow): mshu7/Dogs - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
