Black Is Cool Again

This is probably the only black vehichle I actually enjoyed detailing. I took plenty of pics so sit back and enjoy.

2007 Black Ford Saleen F-150

Products and Procedures:

Wash and Dry:
Two Bucket, Foam Gun, Shmitt, Green Cobra MF Scrub Pad, Meg. NXT and Purple Power APC. Dried with Guzzler and Meg. Final Inpection.

Clay:
No claying, the truck was still pretty new, didn't want to take any chances.

Polish:
Optimum PoliSeal and Edge Orange Pad with DA on speed 5, the truck had light swirls from poor washing techniques of the owner, but I'm slowly teaching him and he has been buying a lot from AG, the poliseal was very impressive, long work time, removed about 95% of the light swirls and finished perfect, plusit allowed me to seal the paint without any other steps.

Wax:
I'm sure you can probably guess what I used. Pinnacle Souveran was the only choice for this truck. This stuff is so easy to use.

Windows:
DP Glass Restorer and orange hand polish pad. Topped with Stoners IG

Wheels and Tires:
DP Wheel Glaze and Megs. Hot Shine Gel, my new favorite tire gel, wet shine, long lasting, and sticks.

Fenderwells:
Megs. #40

Trim, Molding, and Bed Cover:
This was the most interesting part of the detail, instead of using dressing I used Pinn. Souveran, worked perfect, gave all the trim a nice new shine and made the powder coated bed cover shine.

Interior:
Vacumed, Stoners IG, Megs. #40, and Lexol Leather Dressing.

The Pictures:
This is gonna take a few posts so bear with me.

That is a bad a$% truck..very nice detail. The rims look incredable and the reflection is wicked.

Very nice detail thanks for sharing.
