Justin: I've got a bottle of the Menzerna 106FF to try out. Right now, I'm pretty much sticking to a "reconditioning" process. It seems to be the most consistent for producing results the dealer wants.
1. Clean 'n Clay
2. Inspect and mark areas for wet sand (I use a strip of blue tape to remember the area)
3. Paint guage (usually, the dealer does this at the auctions and lets me know if there was a re-paint done or a thin area from a previous cutting)
4. Wool pad + compound (Optimum or 3M Extra Cut if needed)
5. (new step) Power wash compound dust before polishing. I've found that merely wiping off dust was creating scratches and probably contaminating the polish process.
6. Polish (might slip in the Menzerna on this process...depending on color of car).
7. Glaze
8. 3M Ultrafina SE with their pad
9. Meguiar's #26 LSP
10. Interior cleaning
I'll have a list of cars this afternoon and the transport should be here by Saturday.
