2010 Malibu hubcap clean up

My gf picked up a used 2010 Malibu a couple weeks ago, and since I didn't have much going on today, I popped off her hubcaps and decided to see what I could do with them. The paint is a swirled out mess, but since its winter here in Michigan there's not much I can do with that until spring. I've been itching to do some sort of detailing, and these were just what the doctor ordered.

Process/products used:
Wash: CG citrus wash and gloss
Polish: menzerna sf4500 on an orange lc 3" hydro tech pad on GG 3" polisher
Wiped down with eraser
Sealed with wolfs rim shield

The hubcaps were neglected along with the paint by the previous owner, and since picked up has been covered with dirt, brake dust, and salt. They were filthy:

Even after a wash, they were still filthy upon further inspection:




Did a test spot using sf4500 on GG 3":



All polished and wiped down using eraser:



Sealed using wolfs rim shield. It hazes on the surface and is removed after 10 minutes using a damp microfiber to remove, then buffed dry with a dry microfiber. 2 coats were applied per the instructions:
