Detailed - 2003 Chevy Silverado - EHUTH1

This detail was a referral from the silver Pontiac I did about a month ago. Also I was told that I've been placed in this couples budget for 2 complete details a year totaling 4 !!! I was happy

Anyways on to the detail.

I started using the lowe's mini foamer and DG 901 I worked this in the engine bay, wells, wheels, tires along with some AIM Magic Clean Degreaser. After I presoaked I moved onto a bucket and schmitt wash.

Once dried I decided to go with PB PWS since I was out of XMT360. I have been loving the 360 so much I think I forgot I had the PB. After priming the PC with a white polishing pad I started to work it in. Man PB started throwing down and the results started to check in!!! I ended doing the entire truck top to bottom with minimal dusting.

Next I moved onto the interior cleaning with mild citrus degreaser and following up with UV2 protectant. This stuff works wonders and I applied with a clean (NIB) cobra tire dressing sponge. No lint !!! Also the sponge held on to the dressing, so a minimum amount was used sparingly.

After working the interior I moved onto the outside where I coated all trim with 303 as well as the fenderwells. I then moved onto the tires, and man it sucks when the tires have those ridges and knobs. I solved this problem by aerosolin' the crevices and following up with a tire applicator on the flat surfaces. MEGS Endurance was my product of choice this time.

As I stepped back and looked at this beautiful masterpiece, I said this thing is missing something........ Liquid Souveran

Out it came and boy did it add the depth and out came the flakes !!

I put 5 hours into this one and the result ended with $250, so I was happy, but now I'm sitting at work for 12 hours on night shift !!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy !

I know one things for sure, you can throw down with a yellow cutting pad w/ 360 and remove some pretty harsh scratches..... I have yet to try with PB PWS....

Beautifull, just beautifull. Looks like PwS&Liquid Souveran is a nice combo that produces outstanding results.

Great work and done in record time too. Down here near the border there is no way to earn that kind of money on one detail. They can get it painted for $250!!

Awesome work Eric!

I've used PwS a lot..........nothing can clean like it can. The only thing is, 360 will correct and protect a lot better.

Wonder what would happen if you mixed it 50/50? It my poke a hole in the space time continium!

Ok........I'm a true GEEK!

Justin -

Your not the only one..... I mixed some Clearkote QS, Pinnacle Souveran Spray Wax, and a pinch of DP 4N1 Rinseless together.... Don't know what I'm looking for, but it sure did produce a slick deep shine on my GF's Mazda CX-7
