It was a combination of both. Sprayed the wheel with the EA cleaner let sit for about 2 mins then agitate with brush. This got rid of all the baked on brake dust and crud then the p21s polishing soap brought back the shine.

Chrome is easy to upkeep, easier to abuse also.
I wish that I would have taken better care of my Chrysler's wheel barrels over the years. But they are so cheaply manufactured that rust is inevitable in the barrels maching marks.

If he does decide to keep the wheels I will be opti coating them to keep them nice and clean

That's definitely great work right there! It looks like they were toast especially in the 5-6 pics with the white spotting it looked like it went through the chrome plate?

Thank you bobby. A lot of elbow grease and time was involve. About 40mins per wheel. I will finish the final step this weekend with Chemical guys all metal polish
