Re: EXO'd My Car

I recently used the Opticoat 2.0 on a Subaru I own. And I like that as well. The EXO is definitely slicker but that really means nothing in the long haul.

Let me know how you like their other products.

I have about a seven car supply of Cquartz & OptiCoat2.0 still to use. But I will be watching your reports about how well Exo is holding up. I already have three of their other products and will be trying them out on a friend's new Prius next time she drop by for a visit.

Re: EXO'd My Car

It is a good looking coating that was easy to apply. Now if it last I will be thrilled.

Re: EXO'd My Car

It looks great! Nice review. It's hard to tell on white...does it have a very shiny almost plastic coated look??On the Mustang they did on the Thursday night show it looked that way. I like that look...

Re: EXO'd My Car

It has a very optically correct, accurate, sharp reflection, that I also like. That is the best discription i can give you other than the pictures.

It is similar in looks to the BFWD look but the durability is supose to be better. I loved the ease of applicationand removal of the EXO, not that BFWD was hard but there was haze to remove. With the EXO the haze is non existant and you are only knocking down high spots that once you get the hand of it are few and far between.

Re: EXO'd My Car

Nice writeup and nice job. Exo looks like a winner, but maybe a bit rich for my blood. They should make a smaller size to get more people to bite on it.

Thanks, it looks great.

I read somewhere that they do have a smaller can, think it is a 160 ML can but I dont think that it is coming stateside. For the size and weioght of the can the freight is most likely a killer.

In 23 months, I will shoot you a PM perhaps I can pick my next one up in TN? I recently got back from visiting Vandy in Nashville and loved TN!
I can actually get you a deal on nissans or Infiniti, so shoot me a pm

I think I'm going to try it. I have opti coat 2.0 I'm going to put on my wife's car. I think EXO is the look I'm going for on mine. My car is about the same color as that mustang they did. Your car has a fantastic shine on it. I love that pearl paint. It is harder to tell what kind of shine it is in a picture on a white car. Maybe someone else on here in the DFW area will do theirs so I can see it before I do it. lol
