I pulled it in and taped up the car

Heres a better look at the flaws under the lights
I initially was planning to use Megs D300 with its cutting disc but it didnt provide enough cut. I tried M105 with my CG orange pad (my most aggressive foam pad) but it still didnt provide enough cut. So I used my most aggressive pad/compound combo - M105 + Megs microfiber cutting disc.
50/50, sorry not the best pic
Before
After (notice the permanent acid rain(?) etching

)
After about 10hrs in 100 degree temps
Please excuse the sloppy wax removal hehe
A few things that I learned today.
-Quick detailer is a must when working with M105/205. I almost forgot how dusty this combo is. I've been spoiled using Megs Microfiber system.
-I tried CG V4 polish/sealant/(whatever else it says in its description) on a test panel with an orange pad right after the M105 and its darn impressive. I ended up using M205 because I wasnt sure if V4 affected LSP. But I couldnt tell the difference between the the V4 and 205
-M105/MF pads will remove sloppy old touch up paint. It will leave the touch up paint in the scratch. Kinda like Dr. Chip
-Acid rain is no joke! lol
-Always follow directions, I used the Megs MF pads at 6k and it ended up pulling it apart.
All-n-all, I correct about 80% of the scratches and swirls. The rest being deep scratches and acid rain etching
Thanks for looking
