This car was restored at a body shop/restoration center. The job they did with the paint was sub-par for a classic like this. There are sanding marks in the primer throughout the entire car. The roof was especially bad. There was a good amount of sanding marks left from the wet sand and buff, plus several burn through areas. Also, the flat black on the hood was not sprayed evenly. There are spots where it was darker than other areas.
I pointed everything out to the customer prior to doing the job. He was aware of some of the issues, but not all. Especially the burn through areas. Which I documented.
The goal of this detail was to spot wet sand a few areas that had orange and deeper scratches. Then a full compound and polish.
