I love opticoat 2.0...04 GTO w/ new wheels

I love opticoat.

I put my new powdercoated wheels on yesterday...but first I had to opticoat...



The rest of the car was opticoated about a month ago. Still beading great. I love how this stuff resists dust.

The whole car was wetsanded a few months ago.

I have OC ordered. How many mls did it take for the wheels? I assume you did the outer face and the barrel/ the entire wheel.

How much OC did you use for the car?

Car looks amazing. Must be one of the first GTO when they were released cause it has the 5.7L.

I have done 2 coats on the gto 2 times now. 4 coats total. I have done 2 coats on 2 sets of wheels now. I have also done the wife's camry 2 coats on whole car, 1 coat on everything but wheels and windshield. I have less than 10 whatever that unit is left.

Thank you. Yes it is a 5.7...don't let that fool you. I currently trap almost 119 mph on motor.

Clean.....no wing......and those wheels, OMG! Great job on the GTO, one of the most underrated cars out there, fact!

Very happy with this combo. The outside is trim ring is satin black. The main round portion of the liquidome is gloss black. And inside the arrowhead is reflective black. The reflective black really flops around and as you can see in one of these pics it is taking the color of the wheel.

Very nice goat!! What size cam? I had the MS3 in my 02 Z28, and was trapping 120mph on crappy 1.860ft.

My last time out on a 245 KDW2 I ran a best of 12.7 @ 118.5 w a 2.3X 60ft babying first and second.

I have stock 243 heads, a fast 92/92 combo, otrcai, kooks longtubes with catless mids, udp, small cam and the bottom end is forged. I had nitrous for awhile.

The cam specs are 229/234 .600/.612 111+4 lsa. I also have hp tuners and am currently running a sd tune.
