Re: Papa's Project 4Runner

The project is a 2005 Black 4Runner 165K miles. I am the second owner. In Chagrin Falls Ohio. Read that as winter conditions. My daily driver. Kept in a garage at home. Here it sits after I removed license plates and hood wind deflector.

Re: Papa's Project 4Runner

I judge the paint to be in good condition save swirls, rids, some "stuff" I am not even going to worry about and multiple poor touch ups. Oh brother what am I getting myself into....

10 from 10 is the goal.

The pics of the wheel? Are you asking a question or showing everyone how a wheel looks that hasn't been properly cared for?

Glad you weren't offended. Hope to see you around!

Both... I'll get it as good as I can, any recommendations along the way would be greatly appreciated.

With respect to the wheel, I have sourced some refinished oem wheels for little out of pocket with the return of my core. The caps I have found new from stealer. Fairly certain I will not go this route... It is a driver, However, I may pick up a second set and relegate the current wheels to dedicated snow tires.

Re: Papa's Project 4Runner

The one picture looks like you are missing the "T" in Toyota. I would remove all the badges if I were missing a letter. I think it gives the car a clean look too.
