| Detailed: 2003 Cadilac Deville Last week while working on a car, I was approached by the owner of our local movie theater. He asked if we could work out a deal for 3 vehicles. We did and today was the first one's appointment. This was his wife's ride. It's an '03 with only 22k miles on it. The thing is, it sits.......a lot! This thing was covered in mold and mildew from being under an oak tree. The only saving grace was that it's white! The interior wasn't that bad though. This was supposed to be just a wash/vac/wax but since he knows a lot of people, I figured I'd take care of him! Here's the process...... Wheels, Tires, and Wells (Purple Power Degreaser, Meguiar's Wheel Brightener, and Wheel ShMitt. Also used Stoner's Tarminator.) She had ran through some paint while on a trip along with some tar. I sprayed the areas and well with Tarminator and let sit for a few minutes. I then came back and sprayed the tires and wells with Purple Power degreaser and blasted away with my pressure washer. The Tarminator loosened up the paint enough that it came right off. Last, I gave the wheels a bath with Wheel Brightener at 4:1. I then scrubbed them down with a wheel ShMitt....using a rubber glove of course. Wash Cycle (Meguiar's NXT Tech Wash x3 with Black ShMitt) This thing was dirty! Took 3 washes to get rid of everything. This black ShMitt does wonders though. Paint Correction Pinnacle's Advanced Swirl Remover (Used EDGE2K Yellow Pad at a #5 PC setting) This chemical did a very good job at removing dirt and swirls. It also knocked down some deeper scratches. I had tons of work time....even in full sun. Came off of the paint easy. Paint Protection Pinnacle's Souveran Spray Wax (One spray per panel, wipe with MF towel, flip and buff off.) I does not get any easier than this. This is truly a product all must try once. If you do and don't like it, let me know and I'll buy the rest from you! Gave tons of depth and and hard to get reflection on white. Interior (DP's Total Interior Cleaner, Pinnacle's Vinyl and Rubber Protectant, Pinnacle's Leather Cleaner/Conditioner, and Diamondite's Glass Cleaner) I pretty much just cleaned all surfaces then protected them. The matts were pressure washed and left to dry. Sorry, no pics of them. Engine Bay (DP's Engine Degreaser and Armor All Tire Foam) Most know my process for this. Clean and then spray on the foam while wet. Crank the car, shut the hood, and let run for 15 minutes. That's it! Befores.......

Looks good!
How does the Spray Souveran work in the sun? Have you ever used paste Souveran in the sun? If so, how does it work?
And do you clay bar?? I hardly ever see you mention it.

I don't clay a lot. Only if the want to pay for it.

It's obviously hard to make white look good, but you always pull it off. Great job!!!

| I too have used both in direct sun, and no problems. You might see a little dust from it drying too fast

| Outstanding...
I can not wait to get started on my cars..... have ordered enough product to get started and have to wait until April 15th.... as tax returns beckon. I am hoping the wife doesn't find the three boxes of stuff in the garage before than..... or the visa bill!!
Your engine detailing is truly outstanding and appears to be easier than popping popcorn!!
I am a newbie, but if you can't get inspired looking at your posts...you don't need to be reading these forums!!
I know it is hard to always take pictures and post the descriptions.... but keep them coming as I am absolutely amazed at the work some of you perform on the dirtiest vehicles!!
thank you for your time!! |
